Nina Dissing

"I'm a Danish artist based in Berlin, where I study illustration. I find great joy in drawing and exploring the universe of illustration through mixing colors, playing with textures and telling a story. My palette is bright and I mostly work with a mix of gouache and crayons, but also sometimes like to work digitally. I definitely find a lot of inspiration in David Hockney and Matisse, and my motives are often scenes from everyday life or tropical places far away with palms and mountains. I’m fascinated by people in all forms and shapes and I love nothing more than to sit in a café with my sketchbook and draw strangers."
